Daisler Association is a non-profit cultural organization based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, established in 2016. Its mission is to empower communities through creative urban interventions, cultural innovation, and emotional well-being initiatives. The organization focuses on reclaiming public space, stimulating civic participation, and promoting mental health through accessible, community-driven projects.
Key Programs and Achievements:
Strada Potaissa – The Alternative Flower Market (since 2016):
A landmark initiative that revitalized a forgotten street in Cluj by transforming it into a pop-up flower market. It has become a model for urban placemaking, supporting local horticultural producers and drawing tens of thousands of visitors annually.
Lights On – Festival of Light Installations (since 2018): A cultural-urban light art festival that redefines public space after dark. It showcases large-scale light installations from international artists, promotes safe, inclusive nighttime exploration, and fosters dialogue on sustainability and urban identity. Lights On has grown into one of Romania’s most visible public art events, also leading international collaborations.
Blue Monday (since 2018): A campaign addressing mental health stigma in Romania by facilitating access to psychological counseling and emotional support. Since 2022, Blue Monday has expanded to include support groups for vulnerable populations (parents of children with disabilities, professionals facing burnout) and creative wellness initiatives. In 2025, the project evolves into Blue Monday – Teen Spirit, a pilot for adolescent support groups in suburban and rural contexts.

Music is by definition a human means of expression, which manifests itself in the ‘now’. That is exactly where MATRIX [New Music Centre] (BE) wants to be: MATRIX keeps a finger on the pulse of the contemporary music scene. Just like the culture and ecosystem we live in, this musical scene is in constant motion. And we are moving along!
Being explorers and inventors, we are constantly scouting the great potential that contemporary music has to offer for music education. Music teachers, schools, musicians, concert and festival organizations and the public can rely on MATRIX in their quest for information and educational guidance. MATRIX wants to contribute to a cultural awareness that helps to overcome prejudices against the ‘other’ and reticence about the unknown.

Folkestone Fringe supports bold, local, and collaborative art projects – made with and for the people who live here.
Since 2007, Folkestone Fringe has worked across the town — in empty shops, skateparks, schools and seaside venues — to bring art into everyday spaces. We produce and support creative projects, festivals, and public programmes that connect people to each other, and to the places that they share.
We believe public art shouldn’t just be seen — it should be shaped by the people around it. That’s why our work is community-led, site-responsive, and always open to participation.
